⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“His entire life, he’d told himself you don’t need it. That he didn’t require nice things. But Chloe . . . she was the first nice thing he couldn’t live without.”

Dream Girl Drama is everything I love about a sports romance, full of tension, humour, and characters you cannot help but root for.

Sig Gauthier is a professional hockey player who quite literally stumbles into Chloe Clifford’s world, and from their very first meeting, the chemistry is undeniable. Their connection is instant, playful, and completely addictive to read.

Then everything gets complicated... Chloe turns out to be his future stepsister.

What follows is a push and pull dynamic that is packed with tension, longing, and just the right amount of chaos. The emotional stakes feel real, and the forbidden nature of their relationship only adds to the intensity.

Sig is such a standout character. He brings Chloe out of her shell in a way that feels natural and genuinely caring. There is something so lovely about how he encourages her to step into her own independence without ever overpowering her.

Chloe, on the other hand, is an absolute sweetheart. Watching her grow from someone shaped by control into someone finding her own voice was one of my favourite parts of the book. She is not reduced to a stereotype, and her development feels meaningful and earned.

The chemistry between them is undeniable. Their dynamic is consistent, engaging, and incredibly easy to get invested in. The humour is another highlight. I found myself laughing out loud more than once, which is something I always hope for with this kind of book. The side characters also add a lot, bringing extra personality and making the world feel even more complete.

This book completely pulled me in. The tension, the character growth, and the emotional payoff all worked so well together. I am officially hooked on this series and cannot wait for the next one.
