Coterie of Liars by Kate Weston is a gripping, twist filled book that delivers drama, mystery, and sharp humour in equal measure.

Set around one final summer party at the infamous D’olobelle mansion, the story follows Evie and her friendship group, known as the coterie. As they prepare to celebrate the end of their time at an elite private school, everything is set for one last unforgettable night.

The coterie itself is a brilliant mix of personalities. Hugo is charming and composed on the surface, Jess struggles between her values and reality, Tim brings chaos wherever he goes, and CeCe is sharp, observant, and always analysing the drama. At the centre of it all is Evie, determined to make this final summer perfect.

But things quickly begin to unravel.

What starts as a glamorous and slightly chaotic party setting soon turns much darker. Strange accidents begin to occur, tensions rise, and it becomes clear that everyone is hiding something. The house itself begins to feel like a character, with its own secrets lurking beneath the surface.

This book is such a rollercoaster to read!

One of the things I loved most was how it balances darker themes with sharp, unexpected humour. Just when the story starts to feel heavy, there is always a moment that catches you off guard and lightens the tone without taking away from the tension.

The twists are brilliantly done. Every time I thought I had worked out what was going on, something shifted and completely changed my perspective. It kept me fully engaged from beginning to end.

The pacing is strong, the atmosphere is tense, and the mystery unfolds in a way that feels both unpredictable and satisfying.

Gripping, entertaining, and full of surprises, this is a book that is very difficult to put down.

Thank you to the Amy and the team at Electric Monkey Books for running this book-tour! The book is out now and available to purchase!
