The Secret Book Review was founded during a demanding period in Chloe Taylor’s career within the NHS as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse. During that time, reading became more than a pastime — it provided restoration, perspective and a powerful reminder of how storytelling can comfort, challenge and connect.

Initially created as a space to share reflections on books, the project began to gain momentum — evolving organically into a trusted promotional platform built on authenticity, consistency and strong professional relationships.
