Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher is a gripping and imaginative read that pulls you in straight away with its unique premise.

From the first page, the mystery surrounding Charlie and Silas losing their memories is instantly compelling. The suspense is built well throughout, with twists and romantic tension that make it hard to put down. I flew through this book, eager to find out what was going on and how it would all come together.

The chemistry between the characters is believable, and there’s real emotional depth in watching two people try to rediscover not only each other, but themselves. Silas in particular is warm and likeable, bringing a lot of heart to the story. The pacing is fast, and the story remains engaging right through to the final chapters.

However, the ending let it down for me. After so much build-up, the resolution felt rushed and underwhelming. I was expecting something clever or impactful, but instead it felt vague and too convenient.

Many of the key questions remained unanswered, and it didn’t feel satisfying after being so invested in the mystery. It’s a shame, because the concept was brilliant and the execution for most of the book was strong. I was left wanting more depth and clarity, especially in how everything wrapped up.

It’s a book that keeps you turning the pages, but the ending might leave some readers feeling frustrated rather than fulfilled.
